I absolutely loved this experience – it is easily my favorite of the PhD to-date. The ability to engage so deeply with theory under the guidance and expertise of the facilitators was invaluable. I loved attending a face-to-face node and making connections with like-minded and curious others. Because of covid, there has been very little opportunity for true connection throughout my PhD and this filled a void. The most significant impact from the summer school is my improved ability to navigate the literature. I now have a much better understanding of the theoretical background of J.K.
